Wedding entertainment
This subject is not as much a tip for the groom. It is a tip for the both of you. When it comes to entertainment at a wedding, all I ever hear is what kind of DJ or Band someone is going to have.
The DJ is usually for a lower budget or smaller venue. The Band seems to go great with the larger crowd or venue, but can cost a lot of money. I think we had the perfect alternative that landed right in the middle of the two price ranges and can adapt to any venue.
My lovely wife hired 176 Keys. They are a dueling piano group. You can see them at http://176keys.com/ . I first thought they might be a bit to raunchy for the older crowd. If you have ever been to Howl at the Moon (http://www.howlatthemoon.com/) you will no what I mean. It turns out the crew we used had rated shows. We went with a G to PG rating. The older crowd loved the music and had a wonderful time sitting back listening to live pianos playing. The kids got entertained with skits they were in and everyone danced the night away. It was the perfect balance of the normal wedding night songs and comical relief that kept the night moving along.
Until Next time,
Neil
Next week will be an important week. Ladies I will explain what is going through your man’s mind the morning he wakes up on the wedding day. Do not miss it.
